#07-39 Dennis Affinati, proposed alterations to existing house. Mr. Affinati offered further descriptions/detail for the repair and restoration more appropriate for a Federal style home: roof, soffits, returns on gable ends, to match the 2005 addition; siding will be hardiboard to replace vinyl, windows, and front porch will be removed, only the stairs will be replaced and will add two dormers on Chain Alley. The Board discussed the need for requested sketch/detail for dormers and the front steps. The public hearing was reconvened. Hearing no public comments, Mark Crandall made a motion to close the public hearing, seconded by Steve Swain. Carried 5-0. Mr. Affinati will present the board with a final sketch for the dormers and front steps showing the materials and roof pitch.

#07-61 Anne Thomas/Jane Bowers, minor subdivision. Applicant wishes to subdivide into a 0.9 acre parcel with public water, no sewer. Lot has to have an approvable septic system easement moved to the Thomas parcel, reduced to 20'. Motion made by Hale Smith, seconded by Steve Swain to acknowledge receipt of application, carried 5-0. Steve Swain made a motion to open the public hearing, seconded by Mark Crandall, carried 5-0. Hearing no comments from the public, motion made by Hale Smith to close the public hearing, seconded by Steve Swain. Application declared a Type II SEQR action. Motion made by Janet Quinn to accept the application as complete, seconded by Mark Crandall, carried 5-0.
The Board discussed whether the sewer is an issue-decided that given the size of the lot, soil conditions feel it is feasible for a sanitary sewer system to be approved.
Application was approved with the condition that no building permit will be issued until an approved waste disposal system is approved.
Respectfully submitted,
Karen Williams, Planning Board Secretary
